Rev. Nanci (who prefers to be called just “Nanci”) has studied psychic development for 15 years and has developed extensive knowledge of numerous metaphysical teachings. She has been teaching Psychic & Spiritual Development for 6 years. A gifted Intuitive counselor herself, Nanci combines tried & true techniques for intuitive development with the spiritual foundation necessary for balanced personal and psychic growth.

Although herself a Metaphysician, Nanci teaches from a non denominational standpoint and those of all faiths are welcome. Her students have been extremely diverse and include a wide range of beliefs and religious backgrounds, from Wicca to Baptist to Jehovah’s Witness. Shamanic Sound Journey featuring Tibetan and Nepalese Singing Bowls, Native American drum, rattle, and flute.

The various sounds combine to induce altered states of consciousness (ASC) for spiritual growth and development.

In addition, Dr. Simon offers SoulSound® therapy session for individuals. The therapy helps with mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual dis-ease. The sound vibrations primarily work by releasing blocks and tensions throughout the body. Insights and epiphanies may enter the mind and a deep feeling of calm, grounding, and centeredness may extend for days beyond the session.

Dr. Scott Simon is a musician, educator and sound therapist in Tampa, Florida. He has an Interdisciplinary PhD from the University of North Texas and has studied shamanic sound healing modalities at Sound Consciousness Institute in San Francisco, California, and Sound Body Wholistic Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. In addition, he has advanced training in the therapeutic use of Tibetan and Nepalese Singing Bowls with international sound healer Lex Macar.

SOULSOUND® THERAPY FAQs

What can I expect from a SoulSound® therapy session?

The session starts with the patient lying down on a yoga mat with a neck pad and a bolster under the knees (additional padding is available if required.) Various Tibetan and Nepalese singing bowls tuned to specific healing frequencies are placed around the head and feet and gonged or sung. Later in the session, bowls are placed directly on specific parts of the body and gonged and sung. Hand drum and rattle are also played for various healing effects depending on the needs of the patient. The session ends with the reviving sounds of the Native American flute signaling a return to consciousness. The sound therapy session typically lasts approximately an hour and a half. The final minutes include time for reflection and consultation.

What can SoulSound® therapy help with?

The therapy helps with mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual dis-ease. The sound vibrations primarily work by releasing blocks and tensions throughout the body. These releases can cause light twitching or itching in the blocked areas of the body. In addition, insights and epiphanies may enter the mind. A deep feeling of calm, grounding, and centeredness may extend for days beyond the session.

The therapy calms the mind and places it in a meditative state with little effort from the patient, thus reducing mental chatter, stress, and hyperactivity. This allows deeper thoughts, intuitions, and wisdom to enter consciousness.

With repeated sessions, rushing thoughts, anxiety, and depression are significantly reduced or diminish completely. The sound waves gently sweep away negative energies in the body, mind, or spirit.

Physically, the sound vibrations can reduce pain, speed healing, enhance the immune system, and calm the nervous system. The body is showered with healing frequencies the give an internal massage of all the major organs including the brain and heart.

Many times emotional problems are at the root of physical dis-ease. SoulSound® therapy can release the blocks where emotional tension resides in the body. Emotions that do not serve the patient’s highest good can thus be released and the body can return to equilibrium.

The therapy awakens spiritual awareness by retuning the soul to resonate at a higher frequency. As with meditation, a deeper relationship with one’s spiritual core can manifest. Tracy Knauer has her own soap making company and is certified from the Healing Touch program in Energy therapy.

The soap parties usually last 1 ½- 2 hrs and ranging in ages from 8 to 100 yrs old.
